Natural Dye Symposium at Beautiful Silks ''Nature's Colours in the City"
June 27th- July 11th 2012 Beautiful Silks announce a Southern Hemisphere follow-on event to both ISEND2011 and the UNESCO Natural Dye conference in Hyderabad 2006. A meeting of artisans from far and near, a celebration of the natural world, here in the concrete jungle of Fitzroy. Look forward to exhibitions and seminars, museum visits, a range of workshops and tours of natural places in the city. Register early: Registration for the opening event and special events will be strictly limited to 150 participants! As a bonus for early registration, before 1 September 2011, take advantage of 25% off early bird registration fee. Early bird registrants will enjoy 10% discount on the price of all workshops. At our special “Natural Dye only” Heathen Bazaar to be held on Saturday 7 July, 2012 you’ll find individual makers selling their own very high quality products, hand knitted or woven and hand crafted from natural fabrics yarns... including baby, children and adult clothing, shawls, blankets, toys bags, needlecraft and cross-stitch.
