2009 is the International Year of the Natural Fibre. Beautiful Silks will be at the domain on Australia day to celebrate this event.

Vikasana Institute (see India Trip) Has sent us some of their special dolls, we are waiting to see what has been made! Pictures up as soon as hte products arrive.

New products of silk doonas, and textile pieces for the quilter are at Beautiful Silks now, these are special silk bits for te textile artist and the best news is that the price is excellent.

Kirry Toose is designing new garments that are easy care versitile and comfy. These will be available in mid 2009, in our specially composed knit that includes a silk bamboo mix.

Our dye area is coming along nicely and will be operating from the warehouse January 2009.

Work experience students in 2009 have been helping at Beautiful Silks all year, their projects will be on the net by Febuary 2009.
