The garments in our range are made with silk and stitched with silk for ease of dyeing. Dyes that give bright clear colour are usually chemically based and will pollute water. Beautiful Silks dye range is chemically produced, but it is devised to cause least harm. This is because our dyes are liquid and mixed under controlled conditions. Garments natural colour is bneautiful - restrain from dyeing and wear natural coloured garments, or try ancient methods with a modern twist!

To produce colour that is not going to pollute water, you need to dye with plants and water only. India Flint is a scientist and artist who has developed methods of making colour that is not poisonous to man beast or plant.
