Jo's inspiration is in nature, and the mystery of all that nature holds.....this is an exploration in natural form and design.
Join us at Beautiful Silks on Sunday 26th October for our non chemical textural silk surface making and printing workshop. Learn how to make your own non chemical silk surface creation and then printing block making and THEN print your surface.
Jo says 'Collage block printing is making up your own printing plate using recyled bit's and pieces...fabrics, threads, cardboard, packaging anything really! The plate is then glued and sealed ready for printing. The etching inks I like to use are easy wash inks, meaning soap & water, no turps!'
Jo will be available to you on Sunday 26th October. This workshop is $77.00 plus materials fee of $22.00, doors open 9.30 for a 10.00am start.

I love to experiment and create using all these techniques and am currently working towards a group exhibition in Feb 09.
My inspiration comes from all the experiences that life has to offer, and my work often evolves from emotional responses I have to these experiences.
Bring in an image, picture or photo that says something to you!
