Workshop Description:

Move beyond the basics in making surface and 3D design for applications in jewellery, box making, book covers bags and any decorative surface.

Tutor Profile:

Isobel Hall is an internationally renowned author and textile artist. She lives and works between the UK and Spain and when she is not experimenting and writing she travels world wide to teach and exhibit. She has become well known for her work with sealants, waxes, silk papers, lamination and moulding pastes. Sketch book work is an important part of any artists body of work but Isobel is always eager to use hers to work towards a goal and stresses that sketch book work should be used as a tool and not an end product. Articles which are subsequently made are all road tested to ensure that they are robust and fit for purpose. Her bags, books ,jewellery and vessels are all intended to be used and are not mere wall art, although they sometimes end up being so.

Workshop fee is $330.00 for the 3 days limit 12 people
