Sculptured Felt Hats and Other Frivolities

Duration: 2 Days 10th & 11th July 2010

Some basic feltmaking skills are nescessary for this exciting workshop with the popular and accomplished Liz Evans.

The workshop will start with an introduction to design and pattern making for custom hoods. Students will create a hood of their own design, which they will block and manipulate into a unique, sculptured hat. It will also cover a range of flowers, dreadlocks and other felted frivolities for trimming felt hats. No previous hatmaking experience necessary but students must have some basic experience of feltmaking.

Some basic feltmaking experience is essential.

Cost: This 2 day workshop is $265.00, bookings are essential as limited spaces available.

Doors open at 9.30am for a 10am start, refreshments provided but bring your own lunch.
