Friday 1st April - No fooling, visit melbourne Flower show and return to the studio for inspired silk flower making on Friday later afternoon and Saturday 2nd April.

Workshop description:
Flowers come in a myriad of shapes and colours- where better to enjoy flowers than the Melbourne flower show. And you can capture your appreciation of flowers in silk - with artist Rick McGill

Workshop fee is $132 plus ticket to the Melbourne Flower show. Limited to 10

Gillian Elmslie is a sculptress - producing original artworks for over 25 years from her studio in Herne Bay Auckland... She is regularly teaching soft stone sculpture: One of her strengths is to get people to produce pleasing results with minimum prior experience. Her students often arrive at workshops not knowing what to expect, but after an hour laughter is heard and at the end of the day, every person has a work to carry home. Her work is collected and enjoyed by gardeners and lovers of beautiful form. Gillian has agreed to visit Melbourne to share her method and medium with you so that you can express your ideas in this flexible and accesible material.
