Description
Super sized undyed noil silk shawl. Softens when dyed, takes a natural dye beautifully. The ends have a fringe which is then again loomed in, to prevent tangling in washing, fringe can be cut post dyeing, then hand twisted and knotted if desired or just left as a pretty end. See the close up, however all shawls are undyed. This current shawl is a little more refined than the original large noil shawls being loomed on a Swiss loom with finer noil silk yarn that is made onsite in India – the silk is raised and processed in one verticle ethical family operation.
