Recycled Sari Silk Ribbon Yarn, made from a minimum 97% Silk, available in multi coloured 100gram hanks
Perfect for knitting, crochet, macrame, weaving and many other textile arts. It is made from materials collected from industrial sari manufacturing mills and taken to a fair trade women’s cooperative in rural India. From there it is dyed, torn into strips and wound into skeins.
Working with the women’s cooperative gives rural women the chance to earn a fair and living wage, whilst working from home and caring for their families.
