Medium-weight pure Silk Matka with highly prominent slubs, handwoven with irregular thick spots & knots that create a heavily textured, linen- or tweed-like appearance. Featuring a distinct, organic surface with visible ridges and uneven yarns (more so than those in the rest of our range), carrying a matte or low-sheen finish.
Made using hand-spun shorter silk fibres or broken cocoons (often upcycled from the premium silk industry). This magnificent, incredibly versatile, textile masterpiece is breathable & comfortable, it offers strong shape retention, rather than a fluid drape that will soften gracefully with every wear.
